Tapas Revolution in Bidford on Avon
As you know Omar is passionate about bringing authentic Spanish food to the UK and wants to make Spanish cuisine as popular as Chinese, Italian and Indian. That's why he was excited to hear from Kevin and Lesley Haywood, owners of The Bulls Head in Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire who recently converted their restaurant into El Toro Spanish Tapas Bar!
Inspired by Omar's cookbook; 'Tapas Revolution' and after attending one of Omar's demos at Leiths, Kevin and Lesley are converting the residents of Bidford on Avon to the joys of delicious Spanish food. A lot of the dishes they cook are from Omar's book and particular favourites include; Chorizo in Cider, Moorish Pork Skewers and Braised Ox Cheeks. They've even had two Spanish visitors who both rated the food ten out of ten.
