Poached grapes

Poached grapes with Sherry vinegar and vanilla ice cream (for 4 people)
  • 1 bunch of green or red grapes
  • 50ml of Sherry vinegar
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream
Grapes in Spain are a big thing, mainly because of the wine production, but back home cooking with grapes both in savoury and sweet dishes is very common.

Place the washed grapes in a pot with the vinegar and sugar. Cover the pot with cling film and allow them to sweat over a low heat for 10 minutes.
This dessert can be eaten hot or you can cool it down in the fridge and have it cold. Always serve with a ball of ice cream and lots of juices from the grapes.
