TAPAS REVOLUTION BOOK LAUNCH PARTY IN WESTFIELD


Omar celebrated the publication of the book with a party at Tapas Revolution Westfield on 3 September.

It was a great success, and a nice opportunity for Omar to thank all those who have supported him during his revolution!

World Dinners with Ben Spalding

Omar joined fellow chef Ben Spalding in the kitchen at Redhook Restaurant in London, for the Spanish chapter of Ben’s World Dinners series. Omar and Ben collaborated for one night at this exclusive event, offering their 31 guests the best of Spanish cooking. Ben wanted to work with Omar for this unique event, as he believes Omar to be "one of a handful of exceptionally talented people championing Spanish cooking in London".

Omar said of the event: "It was a great experience working with Ben at his World Dinners Evening, he is such a talented and creative young chef and it was brilliant to see first hand how other chefs work in the kitchen. It was great to work together to create such interesting and innovative dishes!"

The evening was a roaring success, with dishes such as Braised Iberian pork cheeks with saffron potatoes, and Langoustine tail, fennel in various ways, pureed corn and fried lettuce.

AN EVENING OF SHARING PLATES AND SHERRY WITH OMAR ALLIBHOY

Omar is hosting a special evening of tapas and sherry tasting on 30th January at Leith's School of Food and Wine. Omar will demonstrate his favourite ways to prepare authentic and tasty Spanish tapas. You'll have the chance to sample some choice Sherries which have been carefully selected to accompany the various Tapas dishes prepared.
